This is the standard dreadnought for a reason. You can certainly find some more intricate looking guitars at this price point, but I don't think you can find better sounding. All of the big 3 (Martin, Taylor, and Gibson) have their own sound, and feel. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, and I could easily see myself adding a Taylor later specifically for their sound. But when most people think acoustic, they think of the dreadnought sound, and no one seems to deliver it quite like this does.’
